CMML is excited to join the North American Week of Prayer in a collective call for our generation to go forward with “A Refocused Mission.”

Each day, from April 26 to 29, CMML will host two online Zoom prayer meetings, one for men and one for women, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. EDT.

We invite missionaries and friends of CMML alike to join us in prayer as we seek the Lord together for North America.

We will begin each session by watching the daily exhortation videos sent out by the Week of Prayer committee who are meeting in person at Boulevard Bible Chapel in Pembroke Pines, Florida. We will then pray together in accordance with the themes set in the message.

The Week of Prayer will post additional exhortations throughout the day for other prayer sessions and we encourage everyone to join with their own local body of believers and pray along with these videos.

2022 THEME
A REFOCUSED MISSION

This year’s week of prayer theme is “A Refocused Mission” and is inspired by the Psalmist’s prayer in Psalm 67:1-2

Psa 67:1-2 “God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. (2) That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.”

We note that verse one expresses well the cry of our hearts as we have gathered to pray each year for revival of the church of Jesus Christ in North America. How desperately we need His mercy, His blessing and a renewed enjoyment of His presence!  In verse two, the prayer continues with the natural outcome of a revived people, that the knowledge of His salvation (Hebrew – Yeshuah) might be known among the nations.  As we pray this year for revival, it is with the anticipation that a revived church will have a refocused mission resulting in lost and hurting souls encountering the saving power of Jesus Christ! This in turn brings our God much glory as souls are saved and added to His throng of worshippers.  The Psalmist anticipated this, for he continues in prayer:

Psa 67:3-7 Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. (4) Oh, let the nations be glad and sing for joy! For You shall judge the people righteously, and govern the nations on earth. Selah (5) Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. (6) Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us. (7) God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.

MEETINGS AT BOULEVARD BIBLE CHAPEL

A more detailed schedule will be posted as we get closer to the date. The schedule shown below is intended to provide the overall timeline and to provide an idea of what the daily schedule will be.

The morning and evening sessions will start with a few songs and then a 20-minute message from God’s Word based on the daily theme to lead us into the time of prayer and the remainder of the time will be corporate prayer. The opening session on Monday and closing session on Friday will follow this same format. The morning and evening messages will be live streamed and available to be viewed later on the NA Week of Prayer YouTube channel. We will not be live streaming the prayer times and would encourage people to join their own prayer groups for those that are not in person.

The afternoon sessions will begin with a “wee word” as an encouragement to the saints and a brief time of corporate prayer before we separate into separate prayer groups for the remainder of the time.
