About the Theme: Come hear the untold story of missions work in Peru! As with many developing countries, globalization and technology are catapulting Peru into the entangled web of misinformation and confusion regarding the truth of the Gospel. We invite you to come and hear how the Lord is using His servants in Peru to apply God’s Word and its timeless principles in times of spiritual darkness.

About our Speakers:

Tom Clark: Tom was born to missionary parents (Bill & Anita Clark) in Peru. He and Carol were married in 1983 and in 1985 were commended by Hiawassa Bible Chapel in Orlando, Florida, to the Lord’s work in Peru. Over the years they’ve been involved in the development of Christian camps and encouraging believers through teaching and counseling. In 2007 they began a new assembly in Chiclayo in conjuction with the founding of Morningstar Children’s Home and Strong Tower Christian School. They have six children and three grandchildren. Jim Fleming: Jim grew up as a missionary kid in South Africa, met Sharon at Emmaus Bible College and they were commended to Peru in 1984. In 1992 they transitioned to Colombia and since 2008 their ministry has gone international as Jim represents Emmaus Correspondence School worldwide. Over 3,000 students start a course every day in 100 countries. From headquarters in Dubuque, Iowa, the Flemings visit these mission fields to cast vision, assist with changes and help with problems, always looking to open up new countries, so that thousands more come to Christ, grow and learn to do personal Bible Study. The Flemings continue to make regular trips back to Peru to encourage the ECS Ministies workers and visit areas where they formerly served. Jim & Sharon have 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
