Ramirez, Javier & Mindy

Had you told either of us in February of 2018 that the volunteer who came to the orphanage would marry the administrator, we would have laughed! But here we are, happily married and loving serving God together! God's plans are so much better than our own. Javier studied to be a lawyer and didn't know how God would use that. Now, he is able to serve as an adoption lawyer here in Trujillo! He loves what he gets to do, and seeing forever families brought together is his favorite thing. Mindy is enjoying using her educational background to help kids in a local orphanage. She has a huge open door to share the gospel. Loving the kids one on one makes a huge difference! We also have been able to help a few girls coming out of orphanages, along with the little brother of one of them. We enjoy attending our small assembly, Centro Biblico Roca Fuerte, where we are deacons. Javier is helping to preach some Sundays as well as help with the worship team. Mindy is helping with the children's ministry. Life has changed a lot since the start of COVID19, but we are grateful that we can still serve and minister. God is so faithful!
