Chalvet, Gerard & Anne

Gerard was born and raised in France in a nominal Catholic family. Since his conversion to the Lord on February 21st 1970, he had the desire to serve Him on a full time capacity. He came to know the Lord through the ministry of a Canadian missionary. After being trained as an accountant and in Marketing/Management, he sought further training in Bible and Theology at the European Bible Institute (1978) and at Dallas Theological Seminary (1981). Anne was born and raised in a Christian family in Asheville, North Carolina. and she heard the Bible since her tender age. She received a degree in Elementary Education from Bryan College (1981). Anne and Gerard were married on December 27th 1981 and they had four children. They have been serving together in Church-planting in France since January 1984. They are responsible for the development of small assembly (45 people) in the town of Pont de Beauvoisin between Lyon and Chambéry. New elders and deacons have been designated in June 2014. Gerard and Anne are looking forward to a new assignment starting in July 2015 with the Assemblies of Grenoble area.
