Noël 2024 in Paris
PTL for so many people open to hear about Christ on the latest Across America with Christ trip. Not only were the Classic Car Shows in El Paso, San Antonio, Dallas, Longview, Valdosta and Tampa a wonderful way to meet men around my 1932 Dodge, but all along the 6k+ miles there were more people than ever attracted by the car and sign about the Cross. Many Christians "came out of the woodwork" and said they were encouraged to speak up about our Savior. Young and old, men and women were willing to answer my questions as I went "fishing" for a decision about Christ. Only the Lord can save, but it was a great joy to be "workers together" with Him. Pray with me that He will do as He said and "add them to the church" that He is building.
I had to cut my trip a little short when at respiratory problem kept me from speaking more than 20 minutes. That's tough for a preacher of the Gospel ! So, I finished my trip with a visit to a dear David & Nancy Pavey in Fort Myers and Dave & Maribeth Cetola in St Petersburg. As I headed quickly back to Phoenix for medical help, it was a joy to stop in at Pineview Chapel in Dallas where I was able to give a brief presentation of the Gospel weekends, the work in France and Bill MacDonald's commentary for e-Sword in French. My old car decided to sympathize with it's old driver and came down with a respiratory problem as I crossed back through San Antonio. The brothers from the assembly came out to help me get back on the road. It was a precious time of fellowship in the rain and cold, but most of all a good time to talk to all the workers at O'Reilly's car parts. They saw and heard what it means to be a Christian !
So, I'm getting medical help before heading back to France on December 24th. I chose the flight date to have an open door to talk about Jesus :-) I'll spend Noël in Paris and arrive home in France late on December 26th. Thank you for praying for my health and strength, but mostly that many will hear a clear message about our Lord Jesus Christ.
