My flight on Christmas Eve was a good idea ! No one refused to hear about Jesus on His birthday. PTL with me for open hearts in airports, flights, train stations and trains as I arrived in Paris on Christmas Day. All I can humbly do is to lead others to the Savior and let Him do the rest...the miracle of salvation, when they tell Him, Yes ! Once home in France, I was able to do the same outreach and follow up a number of people. It's a joy to distribute the Gospel verse calendar to new and old friends. The Lord has worked in a number of hearts and homes. May He add them to the church as they are saved ! Follow-up with disciples is a full time job as the numbers increase weekly. I send an email verse and question in French every day to nine disciples. Then, every evening I do the same in English every day to 46 disciples. It takes time to answer their questions and responses, but it's well worth it. PTL for modern technology. Years ago, a senior servant of the Lord told me to "work those phones" and He was right way back then !
In February, I spent two weeks in London to do research on the ancient Bible manuscripts in the British Library. It was also good to attend Hope Hall assembly on the two Sundays. And the hostel where I stayed was full of young and old people open to talking about the Lord. Great Britain is famous for its "speaker's corner" and debates, so I fit into the culture and debated a moslem Imam three times with the Bible in hand. It was good to see the Word of God win over islam, but their use of physical violence instead of intellectual debate meant I had to request police protection. The nominal Christian audience was won over to the message of the Gospel and told me so. That was reassuring, but it was also reassuring to get back home to France. Pray with me for the one Christian Book store left in London, The Believers' Bookshop !
March in France is busy with preaching, Bible studies, visits and book editing. Some day I'll get to finish the other half of my roof ! But for now, splitting wood for the fire keeps me busy and is good exercise. I'll be celebrating my 74th birthday this month. Thank you for your prayers.
