Christian and his wife, Pilar, were commended in 2012 by Edmonds Lane Bible Chapel in Lewisville, Texas, to serve the Lord in Bogotá, Colombia, their home country. The Lord placed a burden on their hearts for equipping national leaders and workers. Christian leads FIEL Bible Institute, an online leadership training program that works alongside local assemblies to equip believers with Bible, theology, and ministry courses.
They desire to see a strong movement among the Colombian assemblies with a heart for the Lord, a passion for evangelism, and a solid foundation in the Bible and theology. Christian is also involved in youth ministry, marriage counseling, and preaching, and he is an elder at one of the local assemblies in Bogotá. The Ramirezes have two young children.
