Steve came to know the Lord at Hillview Bible Chapel as a high school student. He met his wife, Vicky, through a Bible Study at the church and together they raised their two children while serving together in home Bible Studies, high school and college ministries, marriage counseling, discipleship, and hospitality.
Steve worked at Lockheed Martin as a budget analyst for thirteen years. Hillview recognized him as an elder in 1998, and then asked Steve to serve full-time in 2000. Together, Steve and Vicky led the "SaltWorks" college and careers ministry for the church to great success. Young adults now make up the majority of the assembly. He is active in preaching and discipleship and is skilled in addressing contemporary social issues from a Biblical perspective.
Steve Caldwell has recently been commended to serve full-time with the Discipleship Intern Training Program (DITP) in Lubbock, Texas.
