April 2022

The Covid restrictions have lifted in England and we are in a very busy season of ministry.  While many churches are struggling post-Covid, we are very blessed to see numbers increasing at the church we helped to start 8 years ago.  As we come up to Easter we have a busy program over the Easter weekend and are praying that many guests will come and be drawn to Jesus and to the community of his people.  We are currently trying to work out where we should meet as our venue is increasingly feeling too small for the congregation on a Sunday.  We spent four years in a sports centre, and now four years in a school.  Pray for us to know where we should move to next as the town does not have many larger venues.

Cor Deo recently met in person for the first training course in two years.  We have met online, but it is so much better in person.  We have a women's week coming up in June and a mixed Intensive in July.

The European Leadership Forum is coming up in May, but I won't be attending this year due to Covid regulations.  It is disappointing to be unable to attend, but I hope that the rules will change before next year.  This month a small gathering of leaders is happening locally here so that we can get the time together in lieu of the time in Poland that I will miss.  That gathering will be the end of this year's Year Round Mentoring program.

Thank you for praying for us and the ministry we are involved in here.  I have a book deadline coming up soon and I hope to get more writing done, although that always happens in the gaps as face to face ministry takes precedence.  Melanie just returned from visiting Emmaus Bible College with our daughter who is making plans for what comes next when she turns 18 next year.  It is good to have wife and Mom back home again after these last couple of weeks.
