Sakeji Mission School Dorm Parents

Dorm Parents: A mature Christian couple preferred, who have a caring and serving attitude, give godly counsel, and are willing to enforce expectations.

Overview:  Sakeji Mission School is a grades 1-9 boarding school, located in rural Zambia.  The aim is to communicate the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in word and deed to the children in our care, their families, and the community in which we live.  Despite its rural location, it is fairly comfortable and secure environment for students, overseas visitors and long-term missionary staff.  With a family atmosphere, school often becomes a home away from home.  Missionary staff are all accommodated on site.

Staffing needs:  Sakeji Mission School needs missionary staff for different roles at the school.  All missionary staff are involved in after-school and weekend duties with the students.  While the schedule is busy, many find it rewarding to work with students, who become like family in the boarding environment.  Many missionary staff are also involved in gospel outreach, local churches, Bible studies, and relief work in the community around the school.

Sakeji Mission School has benefited from mid-term (from 3 months – 1 year) staff coming to help relieve long term staff for furloughs and other commitments.  We are also needing long-term (1 year+) committed mission volunteers, with a caring and service-oriented attitude.
